Warning July 29, 2009. © Talon Truitt Cherry, All rights reserved He woke up and the world was ending. Destruction and violence was in the streets. He tried to just go on pretending. Praying his eyes had been deceived. Then the devil came to get him, and took his family in the night. But before he got to get him, He killed his family then took flight. So the boy called out a warning! He knew god had passed him by. So he called out a warning, and vowed to fight until he died. He went into his daddy's room, and took down his old sward. Tears fell down his face of gloom. As he prayed to the lord. God why have you forsaken me! He screamed with such heartless pain. He cut his hand and watched it bleed, and screamed gods name in vein! Then he called out a warning! He knew that god had passed him by. So he screamed out the warning, and vowed he'd fight until he died. Wearing his fathers old torn war cloths, he busted down the door. His look struck fear into his foes! He prepared for a war. Eighteen years of memories, were bottled up inside. This bastard killed his family! So these demons pay the price! He called out a warning! He saw the fear in all their eyes. So he called out a warning, and vowed he'd fight until he died. Seven years of fighting still The boy had not yet died. One more demon left to kill, and when he saw him the man cried. Memories of his family came, crashing through his head. Though he may die he stands the same! He'll fight until he's dead! So he called out the warning! Knowing that god had passed him by. Still he called out the warning, cause he vowed to fight until he died. The devil stopped and stared him down. Silence before the storm. He took the sward and cut the crown, off the devils horns. The battle began, but soon was done. The devil would not fall. He stuck the sward through the fallen son, then the young man began to call. He called out the warning! He fought until the day he died. The vow he made that morning, had been fulfilled before gods eyes. Many battles had been won, but the devil won the war. After he killed the old mans son, the world laid down its sward. In the thought that it had been damned! The world began to cry. Then from the sky came a man with sward in hand. Calling out as he fly. He called out a warning!
