The Forgotten June 13, 2013. © Talon Truitt Cherry, All rights reserved There is a sunset which I seek where regret, and sea salt meet a bitter sweet intriguing sleek like rain and oil on city streets A place in time where angel fleets retreat the earth as summer sinks into the sea where sea salt meets regret, anguish, and self defeat. Forgotten tasks are cast to action clasped to casks of vast attraction sanctioned from a fast reaction contracting only satisfaction. A fractions course of stiff contraction resourceful source of soul retraction factions of this forced infraction latch to sources forged with passion. Soldered here are time, and thought forgotten rhymes are rhymed but not the lot who sought to rhyme forgot to give what ought not to be bought. And so the sunset left to rot sank for fights not to be fraught as war stained red a sea of thought so sank the sunset I had sought.
