Revolution, is nothing new. You hear it every day, people change but nothings changed, Satisfied by a clockwork tide, that we ride from day to day. The same things re-arranged, fallow shame with endless shame, Hide the lies in a sea of lives, that strive to stay the same. Will we always be at war? Is it ever worth not fighting for? Foolish pride, and lust struck lives stuck inside revolving doors. Must we always let our bullets sore? As body bags line up the shore, Every day we must learn once more, bloodshed is not a settled score. Everybody likes to pretend, that all is fair and nothing ends, Children hold the key to a better world, but nobody invites them in. Taught to walk before they swim, made to mimic last years trend, Ideas tied on their brilliant minds, despite what might have worked for them. Revolution, what is it to you? Substitution, for nothing new. No resolution, just repeating things we knew. Revolution, is nothing new. Author notes Revolution rev·o·lu·tion/ˌrevəˈlo͞oSHən/ Noun: a procedure or course, as if in a circuit, back to a starting point.
