One lonely night I had a dream,
my friend was no longer there.
One lonely night while pondering
on things I felt unfair.
you said to me the day before,
you might be gone, but why?
The scars had grown to great, too sore,
and you no longer want to cry.

If only I could explain to you,
the significance of life.
If only I could get you through,
the endless crying nights.
If only I could take the blade,
and show you it's not right!

If only I could bring an angel,
down to help you see.
If only I could bleed for you,
so your pain could not be seen.
If only I could take the scars,
and wash your poor wrists clean.
If only you would listen!
to what it is I mean.

If you wonder why I care so much,
just ask and I will tell.
If you feel you need a loving touch,
Just ask! if felt compelled.
But don’t you dare go take your life,
and act like I don’t care.
Don’t pull that shit
cause I won't quit
until I feel you're always there.
Don’t take those scars and use them as,
an excuse to end your life.
I asked to take them from your arms,
my friend I won't ask twice.
From here on out the choice is yours,
my words can be no vice.
I'll hold on to you with all my love,
this alone should suffice.
