Just Race through the day Race through tomorrow Race through this wall of stone I’ve built to keep me from you Race through the day My stained soul of sorrows Race though it all so you can see that I’m not you I want to stand alone and see you fade away Watching shadows on the walls replaying mistakes that I have made And somehow I feel ill never be a man Until I watch my blue eyes cry and hold the tears in my hands I’m begging God please make life real to me While I race through the day Race through tomorrow Race through this wall of stone I’ve built to keep me from you Race through the day My stained soul of sorrows Race though it all so you can see that I’m not you
