Calling out all you Angels November 18, 2009. © Talon Truitt Cherry, All rights reserved I’m calling out you angels! It's time to settle us a score. These days I can't talk to god, without crying anymore. I’m shouting out to all you angels! by this grave stone were I lie. Cause I can't see the reason why, another good friend had to die. Tears are made of water, but burn like a summer day. Twenty years of learning still I’ve nothing smart to say. Decaying from the inside, I search for another way. Dying on the inside by this gravestone were I lay. I had faith, in life, now life just fades away. I break each day, I fight, but my fights have been in vein. Cause they still die. I take my bottle from the dresser, and I poor myself one more. Take the shot in anger and let, the alcohol burn me to the core. I’m calling out all you angels! My faith is no where to be found. Cause it took all that I believed, To put my good friends in the ground Understanding everything has never been my deal Justifying life’s sick plot has left me feeling so surreal And questioning the meaning has fucked with how I feel I'll just blare the music and softly drift to a place were I feel real I had faith, in life, now life just fades away. I break each day, I fight, But my fights have been in vein. Cause they still die. So I’m calling out all you angels! Time to settle us a score. You’ve taken almost all my friends. Take me now! "I drink one more." But the angels never come take me. Instead they take another. I get the call when I wake up, time to bury another brother...
